Venue

MMM-2008 will be held at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center located at the east side of the Florida State University campus. The Civic Center is within minutes from downtown Tallahassee and all major conference hotels.

Florida State University is a national graduate university offering leading undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, many of which rank among America's top 25 public universities. FSU has built an international reputation as a strong center for research in the sciences and humanities. It is located in Tallahassee, the capital of Florida, the nation's southeasternmost state.

Tallahassee is nestled among the rolling hills and shady oak and magnolia trees of northwest Florida, in what is known as the "Big Bend" area of the state. It offers fine dining, museums, galleries, monuments, and historic sites. There are excellent wildlife preserves as well as National Forests nearby; beautiful springs, rivers, and lakes are abundant, and a short drive leads to some of the best beaches in the country.

• Free parking is available in the parking lot of the Civic Center for all conference participants. The parking lot entrance is on West Pensacola Street (one way street).
